Top Showa Breeders in Japan
Dainichi Koi Farm - a name that anyone who has ever seriously looked at the koi-keeping hobby knows and trusts. Dainichi is also currently the most popular breeder of Showa koi in Japan, at least when measured by the number of hits I receive on imported koi that I have listed on my store. Dainichi has won many awards over the years and they have earned every right to a spot as one of Japan's top breeders of Showa. However, there are other top breeders of Showa who breed just as good, if not better Showa than even Dainichi does, namely Isa Koi Farm and Sekiguchi Koi Farm. Isa Koi Farm is one of those breeders of Showa who have won many awards at the All-Japan Koi Show. I believe so strongly in the Isa Showa bloodlines that I am using Isa female and male lines (along with Dainichi male lines) as the foundation for my Showa breeding program that I have started.
